Simon Bell


I write on a range of issues including services marketing, marketing strategy and regional clusters. My current work on accreditation in the coffee industry takes a critical view of dominant institutions such as Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance which can, perversely, perpetuate the cycle of poverty for small lot farmers in coffee growing countries. My research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, the Journal of Retailing and the Academy of Management Review.
